Role:
We are now recruiting a Monitoring Operator for the ARC based onsite with our client which operates on a 24/7 basis. You need to be able to work on a shift basis, across both days and nights, including weekends, according to the rotas.
Essentially, you will need confident telephone communication skills to be capable of dealing with a wide variety of our customers? requirements. Excellent keyboard skills and good attention to detail.
Training will be provided, and it is essential that you are available to work any day and night shifts, including weekends. You will be working as part of a small specialist and dedicated team in providing systems monitoring, management services and customer support.
Tasks / Role Requirements:
Working in the control room, the role of the ARC Security Officer will be to monitor, respond and manage all services (Intruder, PA, Fire, CCTV, Access control, satellite tracking and other systems) provided to our wide range of customers, whilst handling internal and external customer related enquires.
Take ownership of situations and escalate to on Duty Manager when required Delivering high levels of customer service at all times.
Produce staff / Contractor ID badges, carry out physical security checks & patrols where appropriate and any other duties assigned from time to time.
Assist with Fire evacuation of the premise
Attend any training that maybe required in order for you to carry out your duties.
Requirements:
Security industry PSA License a must (Static Guard or Alarm Monitoring licence) knowledge is desirable but not essential
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to take initiative to proactively resolve issues
Must be able to provide a 10-year checkable record
